Road Closures, Delays, and Special Alerts
- Remediation work on Logansport Road has been completed except for the re-striping of areas affected by the sand/seal application. Barring any unforeseen delays, we expect this work to be done by the end-of-month August. We would like to thank the residents on Logansport Road and the motorists who use this road for their patience and understanding as we try to bring final closure to this project.
- ROAD CLOSURES:
- CR 400 West near State Road 25 South is closed and will remain closed until further notice. This closure is due to work activities now underway on Segment Three of the Hoosier Heartland through Cass County.
- CR 300 South between CR 275 West and CR 375 West. Official detour stipulates motorists use CR 275 West, CR 225 South, and CR 375 West. All vehicles entering and exiting the Anderson's Ethanol Plant must use CR 325 West off of State Road 25 South. The closure is due to reconstruction of CR 300S. We expect this closure to remain in place until at least April of 2011.
- REDUCE SPEED ALERT:
- Area of CR 300 East, north of CR 1000 South in Deer Creek Township.
- CR 600 South between State Road 35 South and CR 500 East in Washington / Tipton Township.
- CONGESTED TRAFFIC ALERT / WARNING:
- All State and Cass County roads in and around Clymers to include but not limited too CR 325 South, CR 600 West, CR 275 West, and CR 375 West. There are three (3) major road projects underway in this area (Hoosier Heartland, bridge over the Hoosier Heartland, and CR 300 South) which are expected to last well into 2011. Motorists that must travel in this area are asked to be alert for workers and their equipment, reduce your travel speed, and be prepared for interim, temporary delays as construction progresses.
