Cass County Project Updates - All Sources
- Construction has concluded on Bridge 110, located on CR 500 East north of CR 425 North. Completion of this bridge removes a weight restriction which had been in place, and allows for free flow of water through this crossing. Jack Isom Construction completed the $346,000 project and re-opened the bridge in mid-December.
- Chase Road has re-opened for the winter months. The road will again be closed in the spring of 2012 for construction of phases 2 and 3. Drivers should remember that the area is still a construction zone, and some temporary lane restrictions may occur over the winter as some storm sewer work us continuing. Street lighting will be installed on the county's portion of Chase Road, meaning the entire length of Chase Road, including the roundabout, will be illuminated. This is being done to provide consistency in lighting throughout the project.
