2011 District Supervisors

The Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District, a political subdivision of the State of Indiana, is managed by five supervisors, who are elected by Cass County Landowners.  Supervisors serve without pay and are responsible for developing the local programs, obtaining and disbursing funds and setting priorities.  They also have authority to hire district staff and to oversee all district activities.

Our Purpose
The Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District works cooperatively with the Indiana State Department of Agriculture and the Natural Resources Conservation Service to assist landowners in the planned management of land and water.

Our Mission
The Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District is committed to promote and encourage soil and water conservation and the wise use of natural resources.

Perennial Plants include: Purple Coneflower, Black-Eyed Susana, Trumpet Vine, Blue Bachelor Buttons, Bee Balm, Sun Blanket Flowers, English Daisies, English Lavender, Dragon Blood Sedum, Orange Glory Flowers, Red Hens and Chicks, Astilbe, Hibiscus, Cardinal Flowers, and Cotton Candy Grass.
