Welcome to Elzbeck Lake, where the Park's waterfalls feed this Gorgeous area which then drains into the Wabash River. The lake is approximately 7 to 8 feet in depth and is partially covered with lily pads which provide the perfect environment for Large Mouth Bass, Red Ear Blue Gill and Crappie. The surrounding Quarry is lined with Limestone and is the perfect spot to kick back and relax. The Park also provides a boat ramp which is located on the south end of the fishing lake.

The fifteen miles of trails within France Park range from flat and easy to gnarly and difficult. Some descents will cause cyclists to take pause and consider walking down. A few cobbled climbs will have most cyclists dismounting and doing a cyclo-cross impersonation. There are plenty of flat sections, however, that offer a nice respite between challenges. Trail surfaces are single-track, double-track, gravel, and asphalt. The price of admission is included in the $5 gate fee, and helmets are mandatory. While paying for use of these wonderful trails may not be ideal, know that much of the money is invested back into upkeep of the trails!
